Do I need a UBC ID card?

As a resident, you are both a full time student and a full time employee. The UBC ID Card (or UBCcard) is your student identification card. You won’t really need one unless you’d like to avail of student discounts (see Do we have any discounts or perks as residents?) or you’d like free access to certain UBC Facilities and Attractions (libraries, Museum of Anthropology, Botanical Gardens, Nitobe Garden, Beaty Biodiversity Museum).

To attain a digital card, simply submit an online application form.
